Introduction
Welcome to "Ordered and Restored," a space dedicated to breaking spiritual patterns through discernment and fulfillment in Christ. I'm your host, Rebecca McCants, inviting you on a transformative journey to become your own VIP, focusing on the unity of mind, body, and soul. In this three-part series, we'll explore how to bring real-life clarity through understanding the Bible's role in our personal battles, healing processes, and daily decisions.
Belief as the Foundation
Our journey begins with a powerful revelation through scripture—understanding the Bible not just as a story, but as a guide for living each day. We start with John 6:28-29 (Amplified Version), where Jesus is asked what work we should do for God. His answer is simply: to believe. This shifts our perspective from striving for discipline to fostering belief.
The Commandments and Our Daily Walk
Jesus commands us to love God fully and love our neighbors as ourselves, encapsulating all commandments. Our work is to align our lives with these commandments and believe in Jesus. This understanding helps us approach each day, starting with seeking God and His guidance, as emphasized in Matthew 6:33-34.
Identity in Christ
Understanding our identity in Christ is crucial. Galatians 2:20 and 2 Corinthians 5:17 assure us that the old self is gone, replaced by new life in Christ. This means shedding fear, illness, and doubts, embracing a renewed self where Christ's righteousness, healing, and strength reside.
Renewing the Mind
Renewing the mind is about moving from self-reliance to God-reliance. Romans 12:2 encourages us to be transformed by renewing our minds, strengthening belief and softening our hearts. It's not about being religious or legalistic, but deeply understanding and believing in the word of God.
Scripture-Based Truths
We must declare scripture-based truths over lies and fears. Scriptures like 1 John 4:4 and Isaiah 54:17 remind us that with Christ, we’ve already overcome. Internalizing these scriptures empowers us to rise above the world's patterns and align with God's divine identity for us.
The Power of Giving
True abundance is found in giving. Acts 20:35 and Proverbs 11:25 highlight the joy and prosperity that come from generosity. Giving extends beyond finances to compassion, help, and love without expecting anything in return.
Living the Journey Daily
Life presents many lessons, and the path to fulfillment involves daily choices. Our work is to believe—believe in who Jesus is, what He has done, and who we are in Him. Challenges come, but with belief, clarity and healing are possible. Each day is an opportunity to seek God and let Him guide us.
Conclusion
The key takeaways are to believe and seek God first, understanding that clarity comes through belief, not before it. May the insights from this journey help you live ordered and restored lives, applying the learnings to walk with God.
Thank you for joining me, Rebecca McCants, on this journey to spiritual fulfillment. I look forward to meeting you in the next episode of "Ordered and Restored." Remember, this is more than hearing the word—it's living it. Let's walk in purpose and restoration through Christ.
